RULES FOR CHARLESTOWN FUN TRIATHLON

& JUNIOR BIATHLON

• Race waiver to be signed & agreed by all competitors or representatives of persons 0-15 years for each event entered.

“I declare that I will abide by the rules & accept the event organisers & their associates are not liable for any loss, damage claim or expense which may arise because of my participation in this event. I will cycle with care & attention & abide by the normal rules of the land. I am in good health & compete at my own risk. Cycle helmets must be worn.”

• All competitors must sign into the registration desk on the morning of the event prior to competing.

• All competitors who compete in the swimming section of the events must be proficient in their ability to enter the water competently and unaided.

• Competitors under the age of 16 years require parental consent to enter & verified on registration on the day.

• No animals to partake in the events.

• Wetsuits are permitted (no fins or water buoyancy aids)

• No headphones are permitted to be worn by competitors.

• All 3 team competitors must be within the relevant age group.

• All trophies presented to the winners are for one year & must be signed for & returned engraved for the following years event, loss or damage will incur a replacement request.

• No refunds given to entry fee.

• Any competitor name alteration must be verified prior to the event by 48 hours.
